Anyone done it? Is it really as easy and risk free as they say? I'd love to hear anyone's experiences!

There is a very long thread on here all about it

Feckinlego · 24/01/2021 19:50

Thanks seasaltyair. Yes I thought I saw one a long time ago but can't find it now.

I did most of the introductory offers last year and made about £400 in a month. Used the free trail on Profit Accumulator. After I'd completed all the intro offers I lost interest. Might pick it up again soon as I've signed up to most of the betting sites. I've also made a few quid just on the free spins and bets they give you now and again.

If you're going to do it, set up a new email address, as you will get bombarded with emails that you won't want clogging up your day to day inbox.

If you follow the instructions carefully you know exactly how much profit you'll make off each bet. You can't lose money if you do it right.

You'll need a couple of hundred quid to get started.

RuggeryBuggery · 24/01/2021 20:55

Yes it’s worth it you can make some good money but it is time limited and gets harder

No it isn’t that easy, and you can lose money if you make mistakes. You need to understand what you’re doing and not just blindly follow instructions online. Don’t bet/lay higher amounts until you’re confident.
But the first few hundred is definitely quite easy money it’s just a bit boring!
You also have to be v organised about keeping track of where your money is, and be extremely picky about casino offers

savvy7 · 26/01/2021 07:37

I think it is easy. I started with £10 and only do sporting offers. I've made £640 since early December.

I use the Team Profit website and then you get emails through from the companies. The only thing I don't like is that I detest betting companies, but I derive some pleasure from taking some gains away from them.

fromdownwest · 26/01/2021 13:45

Money can be made, but with book makers reducing the offers, it is not worht it past the initial stages

Plus, you will need to ensure you have sufficient funds to cover the lay bet on the exchange. For longer odds, these can be in to the hundreds

Feckinlego · 26/01/2021 15:18

Thanks everyone. Good to hear the other side. I started with coral. I've put up €40 so far between coral and Betfair. I've made €13 profit but its so boring im thinking of going no further. Not sure i want to put any more of my own money in.

I started about 4 years ago and have made around 90000 in that time. It's harder now as the offers are few and far between but still free money. You have to be organised and like anything the more time and effort you put in, the more you get back.

Feckinlego · 26/01/2021 16:30

How much time do u put in? 90000! Do u mean 9000?

I thought the thread said Matched Bedding... was hoping for some nice duvet cover recommendations Blush

MissFitton · 26/01/2021 16:44

I started about the same time as @cavemums and fairly part time I have made about 25k. It's much harder now than it was past the initial sign ups but there is still money to be made.

cavemums · 26/01/2021 16:50

Yup 90000 it was much easier even 4 years ago, there was a game In World Cup that made 000s

Frouby · 26/01/2021 16:50

I started it a couple of years ago, reckon ai made about 10k the first year, and about 8k the second. Stopped in march due to lockdown and have since started uni so haven't got the time anymore.

I did a couple of hours a day, probably 5 days a week as a sahm. It fit round life, had to work Saturday and Sunday mornings sometimes as well so it depends on your current set up. You need to really concentrate, it's no good trying to do it with kids milling around.

MissFitton · 26/01/2021 16:53

Japan? Still kicking myself I missed that one. Grin
cavemums · 26/01/2021 16:54

Yup that one 😄

mumto2teenagers · 30/01/2021 10:29

I've been doing it for a while and have made money from it, but you do have to be organised and careful not be make mistakes, as they can be costly.

Have a look on either Profit Accumulator or Odds Monkey, I would recommend, there is also a facebook group called Matched Betting Free with Team Profit which is worth joining.

Now is a good time to start as Cheltenham festival is coming up and the bookies usually give offers that week.

plipplops · 30/01/2021 12:15

I started on Jan 7th and have made about £650 so far. IT's a bit boring and you do need to be careful as mistakes can be costly. Also you need a fair bit to bankroll it in the beginning (you can start smaller but it takes longer to earn anything). I run a business that can't operate in lockdown and my kids are in secondary home schooling so don't need me much in the day. I needed something I could pick up now, earn cash from then drop when my proper business can start again. It's a funny combination of nerve wracking and really boring. I'd definitely recommend the Team Profit website (they have a Newbies FB group which is really supportive as well as the main one, they're great at responding to queries really fast when you're not sure if you're doing it right). I joined Oddsmonkey as they have an offermatcher tool that has more bookies than Team Profit (so I use both), but the people on the Team Profit one seem much nicer, there's absolutely no way I could do it on my own.

I'd say definitely go for it though?

ilovetea69 · 31/01/2021 23:46

I have been doing it for 2.5 years and made over £30k. Have made £2k this month so the offers are still there. I do a mix of MB and casino.

I started on the Team Profit Facebook page then moved over to Back Yourself Betting - they're a paid service £10 a month and they send the offers to your phone so no searching! It's brilliant. They're on Instagram if you want to have a look.

@cavemums I have heard of the legendary Japan game! What were the original odds?

Paris2019 · 01/02/2021 18:05

I've been doing it since sept and have made £1500! It is risk-free BUT open to human error so you have to be v careful. Personally I think it helps to have an interest / understanding of sports and betting (I'm a big footie fan so it fits in with that interest). I just spend an hour or so a day on it at the mo, aiming to make £300 a month to top up mat pay. To make big money I think you have to move into riskier offers (casino).

Paris2019 · 01/02/2021 18:07

Ps I only did around 10 sign ups and make all my profits now on reloads (existing customer offers). Once they dry up I will do more sign up offers.

Mummywantsaweewee · 10/02/2021 20:25

I did it last year and made about 700 with the sign up offers, (I think), haven’t done it for a while. Reading this thread though makes me think I should restart! @Paris2019 what offers do you tend to do? Are they weekly repeatable and who with?
I’ve been with profit accumulator but might try OddsMonkey now...

Paris2019 · 10/02/2021 20:52

@mummywantsaweewee I do:

Bet clubs - Sky, Paddy - £15 FBs a week

Coral - bet 3 x £5 in play for free £5 bet - you can do this daily so £3-4 profit per day

Price boosts - Paddy, Sky, Will Hill

Ladbrokes - only spins and horses (free spins if you bet on a certain race - daily- always makes a profit)

Bet and gets eg place a £x bet for a £x free bet - Paddy, Sky, Betfred

Paddy and sky horse racing refunds (money back of horse finishes 2,3,4 etc)

They are the main ones - i haven't touched 2ups or extra places which are apparently v profitable.

I followed Team Profit and Profit Accumulator on Facebook which tell you all the best daily offers and price boosts, and I've signed up to PA membership.

It's more of a hobby which makes a bit of extra money!!

Mummywantsaweewee · 10/02/2021 21:02

@Paris2019 ahhh thank you for sharing! ☺️ Gonna start back on it!
