My daughter was telling me about e Toro and how some of her uni housemates have made money on this. She is stuck at home at home with me for who knows how long and I suggested we join forces and have a try. Any tips, knowledge or info greatfully received.

Personally I'd say any trading as an amateur is a bad idea unless you have cash to throw away. If you're wanting to invest money, put it in a Vanguard S&S ISA, but don't try to time the market on financial instruments you have no understanding of.

I use it for buying and selling Bitcoin, I’ve had no problems with it and always receive my cash quickly.

It’s good but use the follow option. Find someone who is doing well and you follow then and it mirrors their trades. I’m doing well just doing that.

Thank you for the replies. We are just going to do the minimum and it it's cash we can afford to lose if necessary. Though would prefer not to. We were planning on following the more experienced investors to start off and glad to here that works well for you Bagpuss1971. I feel it's an opportunity to get the brain cells working.

Not much to tell really, I buy when I think the price will rise and hope for the best.
I used to day trade Barclays shares but switched to Bitcoin.

I signed up with £1000 a few weeks ago and I'm up by 30%. It has a 'practice' function also where you can practice trading real shares too. Seems a decent platform so far to me.
