Child maintenance payment frequency

Hi all -

Ex partner is subject to an attachment of earnings order after evading CMS for months and months..

I've since received two payments in one month! (not complaining at all) I just wanted to check that was correct and what was the frequency of payment collections? I thought it would be monthly?

Every month. Same pay date.

Some people get paid early over Christmas which is why you may have ended up with 2 payments in one month.

Have you not received a payment plan?

Yes i have but it doesn't correspond with what I've actually received.

It really depends on when the employer sends the payments in. But as suggested above it could be due to being paid early. Hopefully it will become regular from now on

Could one amount be the arrears. The other this months money?

I rarely receive payments but you can check your account online and see all payments and missed payments there :)
