I've got a small sum of money £4K in an Aviva pension through an old job I had. Am I able to move it into my new private pension? Or do I have to wait until a certain age to access it? Anyone know?

yes you can transfer the current value of an old pension into a new pension. The provider of the new pension should have a fairly straightforward process for transferring in.

Thanks do I contact the new provider and ask them?

Yes they will sort ot out. There will be a form to sign but effectively you are asking them to take a few thousand quid from a competitor. They won't say no!
