Yes, the wax covered baby is not good
.
@JackDelaney the use of images of babies and children in a desperate bid for engagement is really quite frightening isn’t it? Especially as (when they’re a bit older) it’s often accompanied by other useful details such as home address, activities, school location, without the bots knowing who their audience is on their very open social media. I wonder if they ever think about the safeguarding implications? A few years ago we had a senior employee of CEOP visit my children’s then school to talk to us parents about social media and internet safety in general - it scared the bejesus out of me. Suffice to say, there are very active and evil people combing FB right now for these kind of posts and they are very good at what they do. These bots should spend 30 minutes with the CEOP man. very frightening.
Aside from safety, It’s a real breach of these children’s right to privacy which should come before their parents’ right to use their children to increase engagement in their pyramid scheme.
Apart from the potentially very serious consequences, some of them are going to have fun later when their teenagers have no social media boundaries or their teenagers have better boundaries than they do and are really angry that their every private moment has been captured and shared with downlines and perverts alike. Or is visible among their peer group; the ultimate nightmare for teenagers.
