@Garliccoriander

Uber selling a load of products on her local fb marketplace.
....and some clothes, baby carrier, kids Ugg boots etc.

I thought the last cheque (that was so embarrassingly large she didn't want to flaunt it) would mean she wouldn't need to sell things but instead could donate them to those less well off than her. Hmm

BSintolerant · 29/01/2021 08:48

The alleged £5k a month Herbalife bot isn’t happy with her appearance on Morning Live and has taken to Instagram to clear up a few things. Her body language is interesting. Wink

YouokHun · 29/01/2021 10:43

@BSintolerant I am not very adept with Insta and can’t find her comments (though I’ve found her). Her porkies have been mentioned on Twitter on the BBC researcher’s thread so perhaps she’s seen that. She may be regretting drawing attention to herself and lying on National TV.

BSintolerant · 29/01/2021 11:07

@YouokHun it was in her stories - it must’ve disappeared. I wonder if she was hoping to use her appearance on TV to boost her downline?

Yep, I doubt it’s panned out as she hoped. Her claims were sandwiched between some pretty solid examples of the reality of MLM and some clearly sensible words from HM.

The other thing that’s happening to the “Influencer” style is that it’s getting a bit of a backlash in these hard times, to wit, the comments about Influencers travelling to Dubai “for work”. I think bold claims and shiny pictures of holidays and “lifestyle” are beginning to be viewed more cynically among those who might have lapped it all up a year ago. I think this might have a slow but big impact on the bots who have tried to channel this sort of bollocks. I’m hoping that one of the sharp corrections of the pandemic will be that showing off becomes as unfashionable as it once was!

ArbunneHun · 29/01/2021 15:14

I’ve just seen that Ariiiiiiiiiiiiix has launched a line of diamond jewellery. There is absolutely no way on earth they will be able to sell that rubbish outside of their pyramid. Who on earth would buy it?

And are their any Ariiiiiiiiiix bots left in the UK? Most of the well-known ones have been sacked or moved on (see Sacked By, Rasher, Shares a Name with the Founder of UNKLE). Seems that the big earners are all in France.

YouokHun · 29/01/2021 15:38

@ArbunneHun I think they acquired an Aussie jewellery company so maybe that’s the origins. You’re right, I haven’t seen an Ariiiiiix bot for a very long time.

As if the Ariix huns haven’t got enough to deal with without having Ariix rings turning their fingers green and their Ariix diamonds melting in the sun.

ArbunneHun · 29/01/2021 16:17

It seems that Fred Cooper is no longer Ariiiiix CEO too. Man he was good value... those ranting videos... Confused

fitgirl26 · 30/01/2021 11:08

Ah Sleaze. Nothing says successful business leader like reposting a photo taken in a pub toilet with what looks like piss on the floor.

Sforsh49 · 30/01/2021 12:10

I wonder how the "Great Reopening" is going Sleaze? Considering the only place I've read about it is on his page I'm guessing not that well.....

Tupperwarelid · 30/01/2021 17:46

It's too cold and wet here for me to go out to shops that are allowed to open let alone any rule breakers!

Sforsh49 · 30/01/2021 20:34

Wig and Sleaze have gone very quiet about the great reopening. In fact I think Sleaze has actually deleted a post he did about it yesterday.....

BSintolerant · 30/01/2021 20:56

How is their harebrained plan to set up a airline to defeat Covid restrictions coming along?

CompleteBarstool · 30/01/2021 21:20

PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT ....

Yawn....step away from the gold leaf

BSintolerant · 31/01/2021 00:35

Is she recreating that scene from Goldfinger? Grin

CompleteBarstool · 31/01/2021 09:08

She's desperate for interaction and engagement on her posts and even she must have realised that there's minimal (sometimes zero) reaction to the FL posts.

The likes and interaction are all for the animal, upcycling, buying more tat posts. She's obviously run out of things to paint so she's painting them again as that cupboard has already been upcycled once.

Oh and for the posts where she's desperately fishing for praise and pats on the back about how wonderful she is.

Lemming20 · 31/01/2021 10:27

I’m really hoping that the lack of interaction may mean that the tide is starting to turn. The market is saturated, her customers don’t want to buy, she has already recruited everyone in her network. FLP is relying on desperate people signing up during the pandemic but as everyone else is tightening their belts, hopefully the newbies will give up quickly. Fingers crossed...

Spongebobette · 31/01/2021 10:54

There’s almost certainly going to be a brief uplift in top bots’ fortunes due to Covid and the recruitment of desperate people into the scheme, funnelling money up the pyramid

It’s tragic but as it’s unsustainable it will be short lived

There are diehards like Nurse who stubbornly carry on in the face of overwhelming evidence that it’s not working (due to gaslighting - ‘never give up’ etc etc) but she’s not funnelling enough money up to Yawn to keep her in gold leaf.
Despite buying two big soap dispensers

And lots of newbies will quietly throw in the towel, when they realise they are losing money

I don’t think there is going to be such a big pool to fish in now

Shhhhh223 · 31/01/2021 11:09

Local Arbonne hun has been doing her annual recruitment drive by posting her 25k monthly pay statement. What she fails to add is that she has been in the game several years, that any new recruits chances of making the dizzy height of NVP are almost non existent AND that by them kindly signing up keeps her money rolling in. She does now gave to make a disclaimer about earnings but it basically says it’s about the effort you make not about how slim your chances are

YouokHun · 31/01/2021 11:37

@Spongebobette I agree, a temporary boost that obscures the decline in MLM. Looking at the way antiMLM has grown and how that has accelerated as new people get burned by MLM or have been pestered during lockdown, I think MLM is going to suffer a real body blow. Coupled with a greater cynicism about showing off/influencer style which I think has got to, at some point, cause problems for some of the ones whose marketing depends on saying “look at all the trappings I have!”.

I’ve been following the accounts of an Uber downline who in 2015 had a 6 figure sum sitting on the bottom line. Each year it’s declined and in the last submission in September it’s now a shade over £13k. This is the real story of MLM and the one we’ll see a return to once the blip has passed. Of course this particular bot is busy selling the dream even though it’s clearly slipping away from her.

Who is the uber downline who's accounts you have been following. Any clues?

WW asks “are you smelling the roses or the manure?”

I sat through a word salad sprinkled with the occasional therapy term for a full two and a half minutes. All the way through I was getting a distinct smell of manure (since you ask WW). I wonder why? He’s also trying his luck at hooking in those who have suffered early trauma (I presume he means childhood trauma). I hope he has no takers for that Hmm

BSintolerant · 31/01/2021 15:14

I thought WW was too busy smelling the basil and being overcome with tears as a result.

Here’s a clue to your second request - first name rhymes with “Flange” and her second is an anagram of “Roughlan”.

Anyone else think it should be illegal for MLM reps / influencers to use babies in their empire building?

It's starting to make me extremely upset to see a very famous bot sticking a camera in her baby's face all the time while on a f*ing ventilator.

Using your baby to seek approval and validation on the internet when your child can not give its consent is NOT ON.

The baby does not want a camera shoved in its face all the time trust me.

You are a narcissist. You live for attention on facebook and using your child to earn approval for your ego is disgraceful and the child can't choose to be part of it or not so you shouldn't be doing it.

Stop sticking the camera in that child's face and posting it all on facebook you vile person.
