@Tupperwarelid

Why are Castle’s BFF children in their school uniforms? I know Mr BFF is in the police so is a key worker but I’m not sure flogging aloe Vera makes you one. I thought the whole point of the bizniz was that you worked round your family?
It could be because of recent family events. The children may be classed as vulnerable due to the passing of sister. I don't think discussing the children is relevant or fair at this time, the family need to be left to grieve.
screwthepyramids · 27/01/2021 02:09

Apologies, I didn't read the BFF BlushI shouldn't try to read this early in the morning

BSintolerant · 27/01/2021 11:57

Interesting discussion on MLMs on Morning Live (starting at 10 minutes 55 seconds). It’s on BBC iPlayer:

www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m000rq5j/morning-live-series-2-27012021

I wonder if the Bot who claims to earn at least £5k a month has factored in expenses, tax, or the amount of money she spends on products? She gushed about being passionate about the products which she uses herself. She’s obviously her own best customer.

fromdownwest · 27/01/2021 12:51

Appauling lazy journalism, just takes a sellers word for it.

YouokHun · 27/01/2021 14:28

Mmm. It’s great that HM got across her points and there were a couple of good examples and I was pleased to see the 99.7% mentioned, because that’s such a stark fact.

Disappointing that these MLM people are allowed to go unchallenged with their claims. Very disappointed that they gave the last word to that damn DSA person who is in total denial about MLM. The idea that the DSA “governs” or “regulates” their members is total fiction. That DSA person only ever talks about U.K. schemes that have a high street arm. She never ever talks about DSA members like Valentus or FLP. Really annoys me as she’s been OBEing her way round the media talking absolute rubbish about “direct selling”.

Do weight loss coffees sold by MLMs taste like normal instant coffee, or are they synthetic tasting?

imabothunter · 27/01/2021 15:47

I thought the piece was fair, considering the amount of time given, and yes due to the pandemic there has been a growth in MLM's - I do think that it will be short lived as more people realise they can't make any quick money from it.
Top bots will probably achieve bonuses because of it - but next years crash and the year after will wipe those out!

CompleteBarstool · 27/01/2021 16:13

Also good to see key words like "pyramid", "cult" and "lies" used.

I tried the Valentus one and it was bloody awful. To be honest I think the only reason they all sell 'coffee' is that it's such a strong taste it masks the hideousness of the other ingredients.
spanfan · 27/01/2021 19:34

I thought I posted earlier..

But Im disgusted that castle has her child in school. Time freedom... My ARSE. Making memories with kids. What a CROCK.

It stinks. How DARE she tell her minions that MLMs means you can be at home with your kids only to send them because your husband is a keyworker. In a job he supposedly didn't need because they were so minted.

Why is it that when Yawn posts about "My lovely friend Kelly the paramedic/Jade the HR officer...." etc she never tags those people?

Do they even exist?

Also, I can't help but notice that 2 hours after 4 of those type of posts she's not even got 1 like on them.

Spongebobette · 27/01/2021 20:13

She needs to get in touch with Homeschool who is claiming to have discovered the secret to getting hundreds of likes

stockpilingallthecheese · 27/01/2021 20:21

Or broke who apparently has the secret to Facebook algorithms and getting engagement on your posts - fascinating Confused

Uber and some of them will be back up there from last year's new recruits - shame really as a lot of those will make no money, be told they are not working hard enough, contacting all their friends, family and bothering everyone to sell products!
They are up there based on the money, sweat and backs of others - poor showing really - lots of tears ahead....

YouokHun · 28/01/2021 11:22

@BSintolerant had a dig around the £5k claim. It’s a Herbalife bizniz with very little activity and appears to be propped up by a Services pension and Mr £5k a month’s job as a retained Fireman. No limited company or anything.

BSintolerant · 28/01/2021 12:16

How interesting! You’d think someone who was earning at least £5k a month would set up a limited company wouldn’t you? It makes sense for tax reasons.

FranceTeam · 28/01/2021 12:53

Wig and sleaze? Just came across these two, what is their story? I know they appear regularly on here but not sure their MLM ?

Garliccoriander · 28/01/2021 13:31

Re the tv report on MLMs. The red haired lady joined a travel one prior to lockdown. Joined up thinking there.
I noted the £5k BS. They can run but can’t hide.
I note Yawn gets more engagement on her boring yet another pooch photo. Also you never actually see her drinking any of the gunk. Proof she doesn’t swallow LOL 😂

Financial MLMs basically, aka ponzis. Lots of chat about being leaders in the crypto industry, but they basically just persuade people to 'invest' their bitcoin in various dodgy platforms until the pyramid collapses. They are also rabid anti-vaxxers and think Covid is a ruse for Bill Gates to inject a microchip into everyone. I wish the very worst to them both on a daily basis.
funkylittleboatrace · 28/01/2021 16:51

Are Christmas savings clubs some kind of MLM? I’ve had a few “agents “try to sign me up this year.

Garliccoriander · 28/01/2021 19:16

Uber selling a load of products on her local fb marketplace.
