Is life insurance still paying out in the pandemic?

I’m in the middle of applying for some at the moment and they are covering corna. My FA basically said it’s business as usual but if you have tested positive within 28 days of applying there tends to be a waiting period. Ovs depends on how bad you were also. Hope this helps xx

As in are they paying out if someone dies (from it)?

We applied for better life insurance April time as both my dp and I are public facing key workers, so a panic set if, if one of us died. Insurance companies were covering deaths from covid, if not symptomatic before the application.
