Mobile phone insurance

I'm currently paying £20 a month on my phone bill for 2 lots of phone insurance. My own and DS.

Can anyone recommend where I might get this cheaper. Bearing in mind the age of the phones - 9 months and 21 months.

I did a run through on Money Supermarket, and got a quote for £5, but I'd never heard of the company and the rest were considerably more.

Thanks.

How about a packaged bank account? I believe Nationwide offers (or did) family mobile insurance cover as well as some other perks?

Have you ever claimed? How much are your phones worth?

Unless they're worth hundreds of pounds I'd not bother with insurance and just pay for repairs or replacements as and when.

But I've never lost or damaged a phone and they're generally worth about £150, so insurance is a total waste of money to me.

Thanks for the replies. I've just cancelled mine and kept DS'. They are both iPhones, so not cheap to replace.

Had a quick look at bank accounts, but seems to only be two phones if a joint account.
