Does payment on account come off final solicitors fees when buying and selling a house

I have asked my solicitors but they are very slow to respond. We have paid £435 for payment on account so they can start th searches and I can't for the life of me work out if this is taken off of our final fee once everything is finished?

Yes it will be as long as you've authorised this. Money on client account belongs to the client. We have very strict rules about this.
