Can anyone help me with universal credits please

So today I voluntary swapped to universal credit as its going to happen sooner or later anyways. At the moment I get £51 c/t weekly and £118 is fortnightly and cb weekly. What will I get on universal credit or wil it be the same? I used to claim carers but this stopped nearly 5 weeks ago and when I log onto my journel it states from our records it looks like this can affect your claim... I have added a message to state I informed carers about the end of caring and I have an email to state that they have received the change of circumstances notification.. What do i do please and roughly how long does a new claim take will I still be paid my regular benefits until my claim is completed? Thanks

A new claim takes one month and seven days for the date you make the claim. How much Uc you get will depend on age, children's ages, rent, earnings etc and whether a couples claim or single.

You can use a benefits calculator to see what you could be entitled to under UC. It can take a few weeks for UC to start being paid but it's good you have set it up now

I'm not sure, but I think your tax credits might stop whilst your claim for UC is being processed. You can ask for an advance on UC though if you are struggling for money in the interim.

Tax credits will stop as soon as a Uc claim is made.
