Defaults and debt collectors

Hi there, hoping someone will help. Myself and my husband have been looking over our credit files and my husband has a couple of unpaid defaults on his file. Both the defaults are now in the hands of Lowell. However one has been registered at our current address whilst the other is from our old address. My husband isn’t in the financial position right now to pay off the one linked to our old address but do we need to let them know of our new address even though he has another one registered with our new address? Or would they be able to trace where he currently lives? What he doesn’t want is for them to send him a CCJ to the old address if it came to it. Hope it all makes sense!

May I add that he hasn’t had any correspondence from Lowell about the account linked to our old address
