Hi guy, so sorry to sound ridiculous but can somebody confirm my thoughts?

I’m a single parent and up until mid March was working full time earning a very good salary. I lost my job and have made a claim for UC. Last week a friend mentioned Council Tax Support which I didn’t know about. My council tax is £101 a month (including a single person discount). I applied online and have today received this letter. Does this mean the support has been backdated and covering my full council tax? That would be amazing if that’s the case!

The top figure is the amount you need to pay each week and the bottom figure is the amount of council tax support you have been awarded.

It looks like you've received full CT support for your claim in March and the new council tax year.

Therefore, you don't have to pay CT.
