So, after the announcement at lunch time, the stamp duty been scrapped for all properties below £500k.
Does anyone know what rule plies for properties above that amount?
Many thanks

They generally don't release the details until a few days after the announcements. It will be on .Gov somewhere once its released.

If it's a first property the first £500k is stamp duty free and the rest at the same rates as previously. So if over 500k just take 15k off your previous price.

For second properties it is 3% for the first £500k and then the same percentage above it.
