Any ideas: how can I get my UK credit report now that I live abroad?

Any suggestions welcome; having left the UK and now living abroad, I am having difficulty in getting a UK credit report from Experian / Equifax.

The issue I have is that to verify identity, both sites are asking me to input debit / credit card details linked to a current UK address; I don't have any active cards still linked to the UK, so I can't do this.
Experian / Equifax don't seem to provide any advice on this situation unfortunately.

I moved from the UK in 2017, but as I am now applying for a mortgage abroad (ROI), the bank is requesting my credit history from the UK to verify that i'm not running away from a history of swindling HMRC / running up bad debts etc.

Surely the bank should know how to get this information and have direct links to Expirian etc? After all, it's probably not unheard of for people to move between UK and Ireland, especially Northern Ireland and the Republic?

However, you could try writing to them to ask for your statutory report, giving the address(es) you had before you left the UK as it wants to know your last 6 years of addresses.

I can't see anything about a fee, it used to cost £2.

Or look for the same on Equifax, or try the Moneysavingexpert credit club, but I don't know if that will be able to cope with you not having a UK address now, but it might work on previous addresses.
