Mortgage application ??

Hi I applied for a mortgage with NatWest last Wednesday it is now Wednesday the following week. I received an email saying I would get an email off them with a number to track my application within 5 days. Has anyone else recently applied for mortgage and there has been delays??

I’m stressing cause I’m a FTB and put offer on the house with the agreement in principle! Fingers crossed everything is ok...

Did you go direct or with a broker? If the former, then you will have to make contact yourself to chase up.

I went direct and contacted them yesterday and they said give til the end of the week

My mortgage with NatWest got declined due to my credit (I’ve never had a credit card no debt etc) so I am now going through Trussle and they have got me one with Platform.. fingers crossed it all goes through ok!
