White Stuff on line order

Just a heads up about an irritating issue with white stuff on line ordering. I ordered a few days ago some stuff in the sale total value around £200. There's been an extra payment taken though for goods I haven't ordered for around £150. It's showing as a pending payment in my bank a/c . I phoned my bank and they've given me the transaction number so the fraudulent payment can be stopped but flipping white stuff don't have a phone customer service and you have to email and they say they will take 3 days to reply - by which time the cash will have gone from my a/c . I'm just so pissed off as it could be stopped now if they weren't using the covid excuse not to offer phone service . Just posting to vent and as a warning to others

I don't understand why companies can't answer phones. I've diverted my office phone to my pc. The technology is there for people to make calls. It's ridiculous!

Their answering machine message says it for the safety of their staff ! Most people are working from home taking calls quite safely so I don't know what's different about White Stuff staff

I imagine they have a lot of staff on furlough, so can’t handle phone calls as well as emails or something. Their customer service has always been pretty poor though.

Yes agreed but flipping frustrating!
