Hi could anyone give me some advice? I am living with my grown up son for the foreseeable. If I needed to make a claim for UC would his wage be taken into account? I'm not paying rent just paying towards food. TIA

Nope his wages wouldn't come into it, however depending on his age you may have a non-dependant deduction on your Housing Element.

It sounds like OP is living rent-free in her son's home so she won't be claiming the housing element.

OP, you can claim universal credit as a single person and your son's finances won't be taken into consideration. Only your income and any savings you might have.
