Claiming bank charges bank in Scotland - anyone got any experience of this?

I want to claim back my bank charges and wondered how best to go about it. There is a lot of info on the net re claiming back charges in England, but very little on how to go about it up here and I know the rules are slightly different.

If anyone has any experience of this I would be very grateful for any advice.

Not personally, but friend did it & I think he just used the same guidelines as everyone else from Moneysavingexpert type places. He is a trainee lawyer but I don't think he had any specialist knowledge.
Why not try CAB to see if banking rules are any different.
