Maternity allowance

Hi everyone!
I went on maternity 1/09/19 and starting received maternity allowance from this date, of 302 fortnightly. My question is I've receiverd my fortnightly pay today which was £207. So a lot lower, does the allowance reduce when does it stop etc?

It's only paid for 39 weeks, have you reached the end of it?

You only get it for nine months, so it sounds like you've reached the end of the paid period. You are still entitled to another three months of leave, but it will be unpaid.

Yeah sounds like it's just the last payment which is for part of a month.
