SSP claiming uc

I'm a single person on SSP due to vivid been told I can get UC can anyone tell me how limited capacity for work goes and any advice re Chaim no kids

Uc will top up your SSP but I doubt you will be awarded limited capability for work as you are only assessed for that after 3 months ?
