So hubby is self employed and heard about a government grant which u pay back through your tax return etc so he applied wed said he was eligible with the amount and it will take up to 6 working days. That was wed and haven't heard anything further. I appreciate it hasn't been 6 working days yet but just wondered for anyone else how long did their money take to come through?

I had my money through today.

Give it another day or 2.

nevergooogle · 18/05/2020 19:14

I applied on the 13th or 14th can't remember now, I can see the money will hit my account tomorrow 19th.

It was working days, so the weekend won't count.

You don’t pay back the grant, you will just pay and NI on in next 20-21 tax return

Mine was in my account on the 6th day. It's a grant so you don't pay it back.

Mine was in the fifth day, including a weekend, applied Wed and there Monday (well actually Sunday night as that is when my bank process deposits). No email to say it was on its way. It probably depends on your bank as well.

Teddypops · 18/05/2020 22:16

I didn't get an email
