Can I get a refund?

Hi all
I booked two courses at the end of last year at the same Studio, one is this August and one is this September - totalling a lot of money. When I booked them both (at separate times and on credit card for both) the terms and conditions said:

Cancellation - At least 10 weeks prior - full refund minus 3% administration charges.

They've now changed these terms and conditions because of the coronavirus to basically saying they are not giving refunds or credit notes if I cancel, if they cancel they will give me an open ended credit note or rebook me onto a course in the future.

Now as we have no idea when this is going to be over and I don't want to be siting in a "classroom" as I have some health issues and am being careful, I would really like to cancel both courses, obviously losing the 3% admin fee, but getting a refund.

Anyone have any idea where I stand on this please? Can they change the terms and conditions after I've booked? Am I entitled to a refund as I'm giving more than 10 weeks notice? Would I have a claim via the credit card company?

I'd really appreciate any help please, thank you

If you have proof of the t and c’s at the time then ask them via email for a refund including the booking showing this.
If they still refuse then yes your credit card will refund you.

I would have thought the terms and conditions that were in effect when you paid are the ones that stand. Maybe post in legal.

They can't change the terms and conditions I wouldnt have thought. If you paid by credit card you might be able to claim through that. Email them and ask for a refund as stated in the t &cs you signed up to.
