I've just found out that a while ago my dad signed up to the lottery centre, I only found out as he received some texts saying a block had been put on his card due to suspicious transactions, theres 9 transaction totally over £2000, when I asked about it he was all ohh they phoned at Christmas to say I'd won £700 but that he hadn't seen it in the bank, apparently a friend recommended it but I was a bit on top note by this point after googling and seeing how bad this is so not sure if that bits true or if he just received a call and fell for it, after calling the bank they have provided him a new card and he said yes it's ok to take the payment for this, but I've been through how bad this is and hes agreed to stop it but how do we go about cancelling, google keeps saying the site is dangerous so wont let me look for contact details but even so I definitely do not want them getting any of my details should I ring the bank back and tell them to not let it through, is there a way he could get this back? he has done all contact over the phone with them when they call so as he doesn't use email.
I'm just so cross and stressed with him now cos hes really not normally like this.
He doesn't have a gambling problem by the way I just want to know how we can sort it to stop any further money being taken.
