I've got an Argos card it has a £1000 limit on it. But problem is (as thick as this sounds) I have no idea how it works!!

Is it a credit card in the sense you spend so much and get a minimum payment statement or is it you get x amount of months to pay it off?

Bit confused on how it works please help me out Grin

My husband has an Argos card. We find it really good. Depending on how much you spend you get an interest free period.
You get the option of paying the balance in full or paying a minimum payment like a regular credit card.
We've just purchased a washing machine and have an interest free period until October.
I'm paying £50 per month off and will have it paid before October.
If I want to, I don't have to pay anything each month, but come October they will put on a whole lot of interest and then I would have to start making repayments to it.
We use it for big purchases and then pay it off before the interest free period ends.
You get 3,6 and 12 months interest feee periods, depending on who much you spend.
It's like any Credit or Store card, when used correctly they are brilliant, you just have to be strict with yourself and not get into debt.
