Stick with sky or virgin?

During lockdown my Sky internet has been rubbish. My husband and I can't use Teams while the other browses online or everything just crashes. We have Sky Fibre Unlimited which is supposedly one of their fastest connections but it is poor and a Sky advisor told me that we won't get any better from them.

I have been advised by the IT tec at work that Virgin is one of the best ones to go with, however I have always had SKY TV and broadband. Is virgin tv any good? and is their broadband any good? it's looking like it'll be more expensive so i want to make sure it's worth it!

Sky internet is absolutely awful! We're moving to Virgin when things have settled down x

We've had both years ago. Decided it was a waste of Money (flicking through hundreds of channels and finding nothing we wanted to watch) in the end we sacked it off. Started using basic Freeview, bought a Roku Stick and just subscribed to Netflix, Prime and Now TV. Once you've made the initial purchase for the streaming player it works out at about £30 a month for all the subscriptions. There's enough content to never be short of something to watch. Now TV subscription you can also watch Live TV on all the exclusive Sky Channels (Sky 1, Atlantic, Fox etc.) You can download all the Freeview channel own players for free and watch all your regular stuff on demand when you want. There's literally so much option available at half the price of Sky or Virgin that I'd never considered going back to having them again.
