Extra tax credits payment?

Did anyone else get an extra payment today? Slightly more than usual but only 2 days after the last payment?

I don't receive tax credits but would assume it's an adjustment as rates have gone up, don't people usually get an extra payment in April?

Can you log in on line and have a look? I got an extra payment this week after renewing and payments have gone up

Yes, my normal payment has gone up and I had an extra lower payment too. This is after getting a lower amount than expected for the previous couple of weeks.
The 'manage my tax credits' site is down.

I queried this with the tax credits online chat as mine had gone up and I panicked about an overpayment. Apparently working tax credits have been uprated for this tax year due to Coronavirus - could mean an extra £20-30 per week for some.

So the extra payment is probably the extra money from 6th April 2020 - that was the reason for my extra payment.

I got £12 extra, pm, better than nothing I suppose.
