Has anyone had an agrievance with a solicitor or that you think that what they have done has been totally incompetant? I'm having problems with mine and after just spending £4,000 I am no closer or wiser to resolving my bankruptcy case.
If anyone has had to do this before, was it easy? who do you go to?

We had issues years ago to do with money that was left to my DH in trust. Solicitor was old and pretty imcompetent.

I think your first port of call should be The Law Society but am not too sure.

You should find a solicitor that deals with negligence against a solicitor your best bet is to speak to the the law society rather than ringing round solicitors to find out who would deal with a complaint as not many Firms do deal with them.
You may find this page helpful too how to complain about another solicitor

I use to work for the Solicitors Indemnity Fund and we dealt with complaints about solicitors. We were extremely busy!! Anyway dont know if they exist now but worth looking up.
