Thanks for the explanation, @YouokHun. My knowledge of the ins and outs of DBS checks is limited at best.

Wasn't homeschool sacked because she was running Modere alongside FLP and that was against contract/T&Cs?

RogueApostrophe · 04/05/2020 22:58

What's the name of the fat-melting chocolate bollocks that Homeschool is always going on about? Had a look on the Modere site but they have so many weight-management products I can't tell which one it is.

acatcalledjohn · 04/05/2020 23:53

I would hazard a guess it's Sync, which is a chocolate drink that is part of their M3 weight management twaddle. The text image is 5 excerpts from the M3 page which highlight why it works.

Let's just say it isn't the product.

Ah the classic 'lose weight with our miracle product: just take one pill or drink one gel/shake a day (whilst also radically changing your diet to cut out all carbs, fat and sugar, and exercising five times a week)'

Whiterangey · 05/05/2020 00:10

Homeschool is actually telling the truth.

She contacted FLP to give notice that she was going to end her bizniz with them the day of the month after they get their bonuses from FLP. I believe it is the 16th of the month, something like that.

FLP said nope and terminated her immediately so she missed out on her last months bonus. I think it was 2 weeks notice she gave them.

So she did tell them she was quitting before they terminated her.

BSintolerant · 05/05/2020 00:43

What sort of fool quits before, or on the same day that their bonus is due? 🙄 She must be seriously lacking in savvy.

Aargh, a department at my local health trust has tweeted thanking a Body Shop bot for donating hand cream. I don't want to call it out on Twitter, but do want to let them know how problematic it is. Am half considering a letter or email, but even that will come across as bitter, I fear.

YouokHun · 05/05/2020 09:23

@MusicianTom you could retweet or forward with the antimlm or antimlmmovement hashtags and let others tell them! It’s so frustrating because it’s obvious that this is a great way to profit and hit targets but to the casual observer it looks generous and thoughtful, so it’s very difficult to call out. It’s everywhere and the main offenders seem to be Avon, BSatH, Arbonne, FMW and FLP

I’ve just seen Oxford Health Charity publicly thank FLP for their donation which I’m sure has come from that bot we discussed the other day whose nickname escapes me. I do not want to see that Aloe jizz on the inside of the John Radcliffe Hosp but I think it’s also about product placement - how fantastic to get FLP product on the wards or in the pocket of someone who owns a stethoscope, almost as if it’s legitimate. It can then be spun and suddenly we have another “Great Ormond Street uses FLP to treat burns” tale.

9dartfinish2nd · 05/05/2020 09:32

Just when bitching between huns of rival MLM's has never been more prominent, FM World have launched an Aloe Vera range of skincare products.

FLP bots will be most upset.

JasperRising · 05/05/2020 10:08

Re: hospitals I do wonder who it is doing the thanking. I mean is it just the Comms departments going through and thanking all the donors they have had without consultation with medical staff? That would at least mean medical staff aren't necessarily approving of the products. Not that will stop the bots from spinning it to their advantage but it would at least be more understandable from a non bot perspective.

Spongebobette · 05/05/2020 10:58

@9darttofinish2nd

Brace yourself for an avalanche of posts about PURE aloe, INNER leaf, we grow it ourselves, blah blah blah

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 05/05/2020 12:52

Nurse is doing a raffle on her group page for a C9. £3 a ticket. No takers so far. Aside from the blatant desperateness of it all, aren't FB raffles illegal?!

fromdownwest · 05/05/2020 13:01

Yes they are illegal, unless of course Nurse has applied for gambling licence and completes an anti money laundering form for the money received.

I imagine she has all those bases covered.

Norma27 · 05/05/2020 13:46

I always report MLM raffles.

YouokHun · 05/05/2020 15:07

Yes Nurse is a sharp tack; no way she’d blunder into a scam or semi legal side hustle, so I’m sure she has a gaming licence.

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 05/05/2020 15:28

@Norma27 what do you report them under? Is it 'unauthorised sales'?

Norma27 · 05/05/2020 15:36

Yawn can fit into last year’s flip flops after the c9. Sign me up!!

Norma27 · 05/05/2020 15:38

@dickiedavisthunderthighs yep. Not sure if it makes any difference tho. I always question myself if it is right. A report would flag it up to fb though hopefully.
I’m in a beauty group where I know fb stopped them doing random raffles. Not mlm tho.

CaroleFuckingBaskin · 05/05/2020 16:14

Homeschool doing a live. Still talking about why she was terminated by email from FL even though she was the boss of her own company 😄

CodenameVillanelle · 05/05/2020 16:22

Another top down photo from yawn. Yawn love you look beautiful, honest but I doubt you look much smaller. Stop fibbing!

SnoogyWoo · 05/05/2020 17:28

Interesting since we mentioned Yawn seems to show the same small team she keeps showing off larger numbers!

BSintolerant · 05/05/2020 17:44

Those top down photos are ridiculous! The camera angle makes women look like they’ve got furniture disease, i.e their chest has collapsed into their drawers.

OP posts:
YouokHun · 05/05/2020 18:22

@CaroleFuckingBaskin meanwhile Mr Homeschool is absolutely refusing to answer what seems to be the one question he doesn’t want appearing anywhere on his site/feed. No argument, no response, no blocking, just swift and quiet removal. And that question is:

Mr Homeschool, why do you only ‘treat’ women for low self-esteem?

I can’t think why he’s so sensitive about this question ...

9dartfinish2nd · 05/05/2020 18:40

There are some serious claims being made by a number of senior UK MLM reps in various companies regarding volume sales and recruitment levels this past few days.
Either the global pandemic has given the industry some much needed new blood with people who are in dire straits due to their current employment situation, or are we are witnessing lies and deceit on a scale never been before even for this lot?

JasperRising · 05/05/2020 18:59

I fully believe that the industry has received a boost from the pandemic. You just have to look at threads on here to find people worrying their industry (hospitality, beauty etc) won't recover. And sadly whilst awareness of MLM has increased there are still lots of people who are not familiar with the concept. And clearly some people have been successfully selling products under the guise of donations to the NHS.

Of course lots of bots won't be benefitting from these increases. And the new recruits are unlikely to see the promised income materialise.
