@watnochequeagain though it is all information they have chosen to put in the public domain in order to further their MLM endeavours, so not without relevance. I do take your point that we shouldn’t become over personal or over critical of an individual (talking about appearance etc) but I think their behaviour and how they choose to pitch themselves for all to see is relevant to the discussion about the deception of MLM. They are selling the dream based on details of their relationship and the secret to happiness being a) taking Mr HS’s self esteem course and/or signing up to her MLM.

Arousing emotions by telling sob stories, true or otherwise, is an effective way to get people to part with their money. It’s one of the oldest and most persuasive sales techniques in the book.

We'll have to agree to disagree. They use every element of their personal lives for their own gain. If they can't handle the criticisms of that then they are in the wrong industry.

Most of these people have Facebook pages which list themselves as “public figures”, so there can be no complaint if people speculate on their personal lives.

What I don’t understand, is why would you hide the name of the products/brand? Would that not put people off ?

Tell that to the women who are told to cut ties with the 'negative' friends and family they have because "they just want you to fail". Tell that to the women who are made to bare their souls to the world because "you need a why in this business".

Why not forward this to the relevant authorities if you are so sure of these facts. Surely someone like this should be reported?

I'm so intrigued with all this and am an occasional lurker on these threads but don't know where to find all these mlm people! Broke, Nurse et al.

A friend of mine is deeply immersed in Juice P, believes it all, lives abroad but pays to come back here to attend the conferences. Actually boldly asked me why I had stopped following her on Instagram... (I bluntly told her)

I guess these people are mostly on Facebook (I'm more of an Instagram person myself). Any more clues would be hugely appreciated Because this is an excellent distraction!

Not to mention that narcissism is often fairly well hidden and as such behaviours and traits need to be called out individually. Often it isn't until you connect the dots that you see it.

In the same way that women in abusive marriages/from dysfunctional families on the relationships board have to specify certain behaviours. Never do they have proof unless there is video footage / clinical diagnosis to support their claims for being subject to narcissistic behaviour.
