My partner and I claim UC and have done since last year. Due to the coronavirus outbreak I haven't been able to start my new part time job, so I filed an application for JSA on 23rd March as advised by my UC coach. I received a confirmation same day but I haven't heard anything since.
Our UC payment was higher than normal but I think this is because my earnings were half as much as normal (from my old job) in the breakdown it doesn't say any of it is JSA.
Will the JSA come separately? Is anyone else in the same position?
