Do I have to declare 8 hours work if I get child tax credit?

We currently get ctc for our trio, we live on 2 pensions! I have been offered a little job I would like to take, just 8 hours a week, would it affect my credit?

Yes, you have to declare it. May or may not affect credits - you could ring helpline 1st to find out.

triplets, my money went up when working a few hours a week. had to stop as dd hasnt been well and now it has gone down.

you have to tell them yes, but dont dread it, it might work out better for you!
