Legal loan and coronavirus

Hi. Can anyone point me in the direction of info from govt, FCA or other organisations on loan deferments etc ? I have a legal loan that was due to be paid off with sale of our home. That sale has now been delayed by CV and I need to request a freeze on (astronomical) interest but need the right wording to use.
