Hello,

First time poster here . Needing a bit of help !

Currently on a top-up metre for electric topping up about £80 a month . I want to go on a monthly debit card payment for our electricity rather than a metre as I have been told (hopefully correct information ) that it is cheaper than topping up .

There is no debt on the metre we are totally in Credit .

What I want to know is :

  1. Who is the best electricity company based on tariff /customer service
  1. Is it possible to go on a tariff that is a set amount per month no matter how much electricity you use ?

Thank you for your help

  1. use one of the comparison sites to check tariffs and reviews.

  2. Sort of, you can pay a set amount per month but this will be reviewed (6monthly or annually) and your payment may be amended up or down depending on how much you have used and how much you have paid so far.
