Just been made redundant this morning due to corona virus. I worked for an outsourcing company and the contact has been pulled so they can’t do the 80% pay thing as I don’t have a job to go back to. I won’t be able to claim benefits as dh works full time approx £47k before tax any tips on how to get though this until I find a new job

You can take a 3 month mortgage holiday plus ask the council if you can pay council tax in 10 payments starting from June which means you won’t have to pay anything in April and May. Then in the meantime you can use your DH’s income to pay for food and other bills.
You could also look around at the establishments that are still recruiting for work: primarily the supermarkets and the NHS

Do you need the money or can you survive? If need.. Supermarkets, deliveries and care locations are recruiting near me on short term contracts.... Worth a go even if just gets you through next month or so.

Even if it's something not related to your field and experience employers will see it for what it is... Filling a gap, good work ethic etc
