How much UC would I get

Unfortunately I may find myself as a single mum of 3 children under 12 years old. I work 21 hours per week and earn £16k per year. I have no childcare to pay and I won't need help to pay my mortgage. Please can I have a rough idea of what tax credits or Universal credit I would be entitled to? I've looked online at these calculators but worry I have filled them out wrong. Thank you.

Claireanything · 12/03/2020 21:29

You would get approx £616 Uc per month before any deductions for advance repayments.

There’s a charity website called gingerbread you can put all your details in there and it will tell you how much you will get there’s also a helpline if you need to talk to someone I used it whilst preparing to leave my partner and the amount it said is exactly what I get
