Savings account with access

I want to open a savings account where I can transfer money into to have some money for emergencies (car repairs, vet bills etc). I’d like one where I can access the money but not easily, so not with a card or online banking. Can anyone recommend one please?

Building societies have passbook accounts, so you have to go into a branch to make withdrawals although you can pay into them with a standing order. Have a look at whatever your regional one is eg Yorkshire, Coventry, Principality...

With NatWest savings accounts you can only access by transferring it into a current account. It does make you think about it twice - once when you transfer, and once when you actually spend.
Access to the funds is very quick via the app, however tinterest rates are shite.

I have a savings account with NatWest that I’m constantly transferring back into my current account so looking for a different one @ChilliMayo that I can’t take out that easy. Id rather have to go into the bank to withdraw so I know I’ll only get it out when I really really need

interest rates are shite everywhere and are only going to get worse as the Chancellor pisses away our future.

that said, anything less than 1.2% on savings and you are making it worse for yourself.
