That glittering gif of a stack of dollar bills adds a touch of class too, right? Not at all dodgy...

@Norma27, I'm really sorry to hear about your friend. Was just catching up with the thread and that stopped me in my tracks. Very sad.

Hunbot · 28/03/2020 13:37

Castle I know that we don't agree with your business practices however I think the whole of mumsnet sends best wishes to your sister and we hope she makes a full recovery

Paddy1234 · 28/03/2020 14:50

Well said Hunbor - a very frightening time

Twentytwentyhindsight · 28/03/2020 15:52

Indeed. She appears to have made excellent progress with the treatment so far, here's hoping for an equally excellent end to it.

ticktock19 · 28/03/2020 15:52

Completely agree, I hope she is back home and feeling better very soon

Tupperwarelid · 28/03/2020 17:06

It must be a nightmare time to be in hospital, am wishing her better and home soon.

Sforsh49 · 28/03/2020 19:37

Bruvs Insta Story shows him walking on his hands by the river. I hope it's an old clip as otherwise he either lives with someone he's kept secret for months or he's breached the Stay at Home Rules...... £60 fine Bruv??

Maydayredalert · 28/03/2020 19:56

Oh come on @Sforsh49 we all know the rules don't apply to him, only us cretins Hmm

Sforsh49 · 28/03/2020 20:21

@maydayredalert you'd think as he harps on so much about having been a Police Officer he'd be really law abiding. I'd love to know exactly how long he did, where he worked and in what role....

Maydayredalert · 28/03/2020 20:29

Oh good call @Sforsh49, does anyone here know?

BSintolerant · 28/03/2020 20:41

He was a graphic designer too.

BSintolerant · 28/03/2020 20:46

He moved to London in 2009 to join the police. I wonder why the link to his website is broken?

BSintolerant · 28/03/2020 20:54

This site is really good for recovering websites which no longer exist: web.archive.org

Sforsh49 · 28/03/2020 21:07

I've just checked his Linkdin. He did 5 years. Just as the salary starts to ramp up he resigned after apparently being injured and becoming disillusioned. He left an extremely secure job (Police can't be made redundant) and if you're out your 2 years it's hard to get rid of you for other reasons. If you are injured on duty (he claims to have been), they are extremely supportive with unlimited FULL sick pay, 33 days holiday, guaranteed overtime if you want it, to set up in an MLM so forgoing all that, and in doing so also leaves one of the best pensions around (although would have been paying 9% for it).

He then states that within 6 months he was earning 4x his salary. So 4x35k+London Weighting...... if he'd stayed in and didn't climb the ranks he'd be on 41k+London Weighting basic. Bet he's not earning that now, WITHOUT all the benefits the job brings.....

Twentytwentyhindsight · 28/03/2020 22:04

So much easier than a real job (albeit an extremely well looked after one) to hang onto his sister's coat tails and bask in her reflected glory when Forever Fibbing was on the up and she was afforded superstar status...

It's hardly as though he had the skill set to progress a career in the force (or any career if we are brutally honest).

Another spoilt brat who thought that everything comes on a silver spoon held by someone else is sorely exposed as naked when it comes to the real world. He reminds me of PhD in that sense, but with even less brains.

BSintolerant · 28/03/2020 22:46

It’s interesting that his graphic design job was with “a family company” (his own family, perhaps?) although the article in which he mentions this doesn’t make it clear. He claimed that his Forever earnings were double that of his salary as a graphic designer. Graphic design didn’t give him the work life balance he wanted - but all Forever bots are told to trot out that old chestnut to convince potential victims that flogging aloe vera will solve all their problems.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 28/03/2020 23:21

Wasn't there another FLP manhun back in the heydays who realised there was more money to be made fleecing the other bots to design their websites etc.?

His name completely eludes me at the mo.

JasperRising · 28/03/2020 23:53

Twentytwentyhindsight there was and his name alludes me to now. Clearly realised the money wasn't in the MLM but in the peripherals. Was in the castle downline. Wife did another MLM I think. Moved location and got involved with a new MLM that was starting up - not sure what happened with that as I don't think I've heard the name for a while.

JasperRising · 29/03/2020 00:02

The company was Enhanzz. It has a Happiness Circle and 13 income streams... Don't think the manhun you're thinking of is still involved with them either though.

Zigging · 29/03/2020 00:21

....after leaving he roped in a load of people who were unhappy at work. They bit spammed people for ages but within 3 months had notably knocked the game on the head and stopped mentioning it on their profiles

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 29/03/2020 09:40

Is it just me being cynical or is Castle's request for 100 people to fill in a survey for their Family Fortunes game just a way of harvesting information to use at a later date? Hmm

Spongebobette · 29/03/2020 09:41

bloody hell Wig is pushing QAnon now.

Crazy dangerous conspiracy theories

BSintolerant · 29/03/2020 09:55

Castle wants 100 names? Is she creating a new Who Do You Know List? I hope she’s GDPR compliant.

Ilovefluffysheep · 29/03/2020 11:41

Frequent reader but I don't really comment. Just wanted to point out it's not unlimited full sick pay in the police. It's 6 months full pay followed by 6 months half in any rolling 12 month period. After that you go on to nothing.

I was a police officer for 16 years before being medically retired. Due to lots of surgery I'm unfortunately very well versed with the sick policy. I do realise it is very generous though, especially compared to private business.
