NHS maternity pay

I'm just waiting to start my first job in the NHS in the next few weeks. I plan on staying in this job for around 8-9months before moving to another part of the country and hopefully getting a similar job in the NHS again.

My question is, I'm planning on ttc next year and wanted to be sure that I'd still be eligible for maternity pay from work and not just smp. Can anyone confirm that I am correct in thinking this will be ok?

As long as you've had a years continuous service within the NHS, even in different trusts, you are eligible for full mat pay.
