Universal credit while on maternity?

I currently work full time and I'm not entitled to any benefits.
My first child is due in June and I'll be a single parent. During maternity leave I'll receive 90% pay for the first 6 weeks, 50% plus statutory for the next 20 weeks and then just statutory for the next 12 weeks.
I presumed I wouldn't be entitled to anything else (other than child benefit), however when I used a benefits calculator (entitledto.co.uk) it said I'll be entitled to over £1000 a month in universal credit.

Does anyone know if this sounds right? I rent privately if this makes any difference. Thankyou!

It depends on rent and earnings really. It is possible for people to get large amounts of UC if their rent is higher or they have lots of kids born before April 2017.
