I haven't started work with Appen myself so I can't help you. But have a look on the £10 a day thread (a new one for Feb will be started soon as it is getting full) someone on those threads will be able to help you Smile

hi @mumofone2818 the invoices display in American format and are listed monthly. So you would now be starting on the one showing start of 2.1.2020 to 2.29.2020
you then take a line per day, per project that you do.
I do 2 projects so have the option to select from 2 on the drop down.
You can only submit them once per month, so it's best to submit them.ln 1st or 2nd of each month.
You get an email once the invoice is submitted then a few days later an email saying the invoice has been approved. I then get paid on around 13th of the month.
Hope that helps but I will check back later if you have any other questions or feel free to PM me

There should be decent instructions on your project page? However, there are two places you can ask questions on Appen. One is social which is on the top left hand side and would be a good place to ask invoice questions, and the other is chat which is specific to your project.

If you are working on a project on your phone in the clients app you need to add "on device" to the notes section on your invoice. I would also take screenshots of the final question for your records. (I add a few days on at a time)

Any further questions please ask. I'll keep an eye on the chat in my projects in case we are on the same one.

Thank you! the prject updates it for me I just wasn't sure what to do with it Blush So I need to always submit the invoice in order to get paid is this correct? Is it always once a month that you get paid too or is it weekly etc?

hi, yes you need to submit the invoice monthly. As it is Pacific time they use, it's best to do it late on 1st or on 2nd of the month.
I had forgotten that some projects auto fill your pay though!

MrsWombat · 16/02/2020 08:37

There is normally an announcement (listed on the project page on the right-hand side) for when auto-generated invoice projects will appear on your invoice and when the last possible time will be for you to submit it. For January invoices they said that auto-generated projects will start to appear from 5pm PST on the first business day (3rd Feb) and you had until 4pm PST to submit them. (Self invoiced and auto-generated) You will then be paid around the 14th of the month. It goes into your payoneer account then a couple of hours later it moves over to your paypal.

*4pm PST on the 4th Feb for submitting all invoices. (I missed that bit out) Ask us again on the 1st March in the main thread if you are not sure.
