I think the first thing you need to do is think about your USP, you can spend thousands on beautiful products, but it doesn't mean people will be interested. Have you put a business plan together yet? That should give you a better idea of your target market and the sort of products they look at buying. Then it's probably worth doing a bit of market research to see what sort of baby clothes are selling, what people want, price points, etc.

It does look like the sustainable clothing market will see an increase, so maybe look at finding suppliers of ethically made/sustainable clothing?

No one is going to tell you where to buy stock from. Those that know, know because they sell it, and it takes years to find decent suppliers and build up a relationship. They won't give that information away.
To be honest, what you are looking at going into isn't a sustainable business unless you have a lot of money to invest, and I mean A LOT. Where will you sell? eBay or the like and you're competing against very big sellers. On a website, you won't get the customers without paying for advertising. Sure you could sell a few bits to friends and family. But it won't last long and I'd never recommend mixing business with friends and family. They'll all tell you how beautiful the things are that you are selling but they won't buy or they'll expect big discounts.

You’re going at this the wrong way round. You should know what you want to sell, decide if you think there’s a big enough market for that, and then source it.
