Jobseeker's Allowance and new job

Can anyone please tell me when you have to tell the job centre about an offer of employment?

I'm on JSA and am awaiting a start date. Do I tell them the day I start the job?

Tell them on your first working day.
Up until then the job offer could be withdrawn and they stop your JSA immediately.

Ensure you receive a contract and a start date
Dates can change & job offers can be withdrawn, so wait until you are certain
