Has anyone had a UC sanction? Help!

We claim UC, we get around £500 a month, most of it is childcare element. (we have 1DC)

We moved house on 1st Jan, and I have only just got round to reporting the change on my UC account, as moving has been pretty hectic and we've only just got internet etc. I didn't realise this would incur a sanction but apparently I "better have a good reason for reporting late" so now I'm terrified!

Will they stop our UC? Has this happened to anyone else?

How many days to you have to tell if Coc?

Ask them how many days do you have?

With HB it used to be a month

It does say you have to inform them "straightaway" but does not specify a time period.
Have you spoken to them on the phone? I'd be really apologetic and explain you had no internet, busy with move, childcare, or thought it was a month window like HB.
If you've been ill, get a sick note from the doctor. It'll help.
