Big win at bingo but never got the cash !

Hi, is there anyone that plays bingo out there that can give me some advice ? For the first time ever, I had a big win of £500. I always play using the tablets provided. Anyway when my numbers came up I shouted house and pressed the claim button on the tablet. About 30 seconds later my tablet screen went back to the game I should have just won and then the caller started calling out numbers again. When I questioned what happened, I was told my claim had shown up on the caller's screen but he never heard me shout out. Therefore I lost my win.
Has anyone experienced this before and do I have a right to try and claim my win ?

It is your responsibility to shout loud enough to stop the game I'm afraid. If the caller didn't hear you then they will continue to call. Once the next number is called you've missed your chance. You must be gutted though, I know I would be
