Sorry not really sure where to post, but the whole thing is stressing me out.
I'm self employed and single, claiming tax credits. Work is crap and I've given it a go but I need to go back into employment and get a regular income.
The whole tax credits process is stressful and I'm aware that when I update my claim I will be moved over the UC. However can I just stop claiming? Has anyone done this? I don't want universal credit or tax credits, I just want a full time job without the stress of the claiming process and them demanding money back. Will they automatically make me claim UC or when I update can I just not make a UC claim?
