Mortgage offer

We have recently had a mortgage offer and everything is going through well so far with purchasing our new house.
I have a credit card which I dont use and the balance was 0 - until a few weeks ago, when my car needed repairs that I couldnt get away with not doing, and it was a large amount so had no choice but to put it in the card.
Its since occured to me that maybe the mortgage lender will check our credit again and see I've used my card and may decline our mortgage. I'm of course going to pay as much as I can off in the meantime but we're hopefully completing end of feb, so not many paydays to do it in. I'm sweating over this!
Had anybody got any experience with anything like this? Am I worrying over nothing, now it's been offered and going through will they even check again? Or have I just dashed our chances of the mortgage going through? Confused

They will re-score you again. Make sure you pay it off

Thank you for replying. I will pay as much as I can!

I think if you use your card then pay it off it's a good thing. I think you are worrying needlessly.

I am a mortgage advisor and a re score after offer is rare but not unheard of, would say 90% likely not to get checked again if your not making any changes to the mortgage and it all goes through within a reasonable time x
