Courtesy car excess insurance

Is there such a thing as courtesy car excess insurance? Someone bashed my car so whilst it's being repaired I've got a courtesy car and I would like to insure the excess as I may have it for a month and I'm not used to having a nice car!

I can't seem to find anything other than holiday car cover, can anyone point me in the right direction? Cheers!

Look at hire car excess insurance. I use it for rental cars on holiday so check the policy wording to make sure it covers your scenario

The long and short of it is, you buy this insurance, and then if you have an accident, you pay the exces as normal to the hire co (who then go off and sort repairs on their own time). The insurance then separately reimburses you the excess.

It saves you having to pay £££ for the collision damage waiver policies.

www.confused.com/car-hire-excess-insurance is just one random google link, also check out the moneysavingexpert page on it.
