Hi, I’m just wondering if anyone could help me? Myself and my partner have recently separated and I am expecting but I will only have my maternity pay when I am due? Does anyone know if I can get any additional help or benefits?

Thank you in advance

There’s a website called Entitled To. It’s a benefits calculator so you should be able to get an idea. Your ex should also pay maintenance.

Claim Universal credit , child benefit and child maintenance.

Firstly, what's your salary, that will affect what you get from everything up to and including child benefit! Also, the amount you have in savings could make a difference re universal credit. Were you married? Have you sorted out child maintenance?
