I can't believe this has been going for nearly a year! I feel rather emotional Blush

I'll pop the list up in a second for any newcomers.

Here's to a fantastic December, and bolstered bank balances for January!

I'm up to £60 after 2 hours on the Aussie Audio one, I must sleep but I suspect I'm addicted!

Catatemyhomework · 14/12/2019 23:58

@lilmishap 😆. £60 is fantastic for two hours. I've only done a few but will crack on tomorrow. It's great when they say the wrong thing straight away and you can just move onto the next one! I think Neevo is great. The only thing is that you never know how quickly they will pull the task. I guess that's the risk with all these projects.

lilmishap · 15/12/2019 00:18

I lied it was closer to 3 I didn't realise it was that late until I posted! Crown Confused I really enjoyed that and it's letting me do more than 1200....

ZetaPuppis · 15/12/2019 07:26

I signed up to Neevo yesterday but it just says there are no more jobs.
Am I missing something?

ZetaPuppis · 15/12/2019 07:35

@lilmishap thanks for the recommendations.

anxiouswaiting · 15/12/2019 08:52

Anyone doing the Neevo Australian tasks finding you are rejecting loads? This morning there seems to be a lot of non-Australian speakers (hard to tell sometimes, but many with strong accents from other countries), quite a lot of noisy backgrounds and a lot of missed or extra words so speech doesn't match text.

I am rejecting a lot more than approving Confused

lynsey91 · 15/12/2019 09:05

@anxiouswaiting yes I am rejecting loads. Quite a few definitely don't have an australian accident (I seem to be getting a lot that sound indian) and lots of the noisy ones are completely quiet in the background. I am not keen on the ones that are only 1 or 2 words as it is not always easy to hear an accent

AliciaWhiskers · 15/12/2019 09:07

@anxiouswaiting I was about to post exactly the same thing! Glad it's not just me!

seizethecuttlefish · 15/12/2019 10:03

Got an email from Neevo but when I log in it says I don't have the necessary language requirements. Off to see if there's Appen work.

anxiouswaiting · 15/12/2019 10:11

Glad its not just me! There are going to be a lot of disappointed people. Neevo are clear about what dialect they want though so I am not sure why people chance it, big difference between Indian and Australian accent, they are just wasting their time.

AliciaWhiskers · 15/12/2019 10:15

@seizethecuttlefish on my email it explained how to get around the language thing

SNISR · 15/12/2019 10:46

Yes just finished 1200 on the neevo Australian quiet task and rejected loads. Does that mean the ones rejected don't get paid? So many Indian, Arabic and African accents.

Started the noisy one now, but just thought I'd come catch up on this thread first.

Loving neevo!! Thank you for whoever found this website. I have earned £200 worth on neevo in one week! That's amazing.

AliciaWhiskers · 15/12/2019 10:50

@SNISR agreed, Neevo is my favourite too. Whoever suggested them on here is fabulous! Well done on reaching 1200!

SNISR · 15/12/2019 10:53

@AliciaWhiskers yes definitely!

The noisy one is so much quicker to get through as most are recorded in a non noisy background.

Catatemyhomework · 15/12/2019 11:09

Yes, sometimes it's difficult to tell if the background is noisy or not. There are some where I think I can hear birds singing at the end but they were quiet initially and I have to strain my ears Grin

SNISR · 15/12/2019 11:22

@Catatemyhomework yes the noisy one is slightly trickier, but quicker to get through. I'm on 200 already

Frenchdoors1 · 15/12/2019 11:56

Wondering how you all got this task on Neevo?

DontCallMeDarling · 15/12/2019 12:20

A quick observation about those Appen projects, my first week just following guidelines I had a pretty high accuracy then week on week the more I followed the official advice given by Mods, podcasts and quizzes the lower the accuracy Grin. I suspect the left hand was never told what the right hand was doing! Hmm. Oh well as long as I get paid!

AliciaWhiskers · 15/12/2019 12:27

@Frenchdoors1 I got emailed about it yesterday. I don't know how they select who gets offered which jobs.

AliciaWhiskers · 15/12/2019 12:38

On the Aussie ones, do you think quiet means silent? I'm struggling as PP said when there might be a really faint bird tweet right at the end!

Catatemyhomework · 15/12/2019 13:04

@AliciaWhiskers, all I can hear is birds singing now! Grin

CatHopeful · 15/12/2019 14:29

I've signed up to Neevo, just done the listening test and passed, but am not seeing any available jobs.

Frenchdoors1 · 15/12/2019 15:00

@AliciaWhiskers
Thank you!
I'm doing the agent calls again this coming week:)

Catatemyhomework · 15/12/2019 15:04

Is anyone else finding on the English Australia tasks that the audio clip doesn't appear in the task and when you refresh it still doesn't work. I have had to guess a few of these to be able to move forward to the next one, but worried it will bring my accuracy down.

toastytea · 15/12/2019 15:10

@cathopeful same!
